Cancelled letters.

Cancelled Letters are a different story in the world of stamps.

The existence of stamps is directly linked to letters.

Collecting letters with stamps can be a very rewarding and informative hobby, offering insight into both the history of postal services and broader historical events and personal stories.

Letters can be sent and stamped in different ways. You have a regular letter or a registered letter. You have regular stamps or occasion stamps that are used on certain specific occasions, activities or historical or non-historical commemorations.

Collecting such letters can be the start of a detailed thematic collection around a certain theme or item.
